Subjective well-being among women with disabilities

Women with disabilities are individuals who have double vulnerabilities. These vulnerabilities arguably resulting from their condition as disabled persons and status a woman. Both women innate factors accident similarly negative view of condition. This study aimed to describe subjective well-being in disabilities. The research method used was qualitative phenomenology. data obtained through semi-structured interviews. included six (visually impaired), aged between 20 30 years lived Yogyakarta graduate student. interviews were analyzed thematic analysis. results showed that influenced by cognitive component (life satisfaction), which indicated self-acceptance, positive social relations, perceived gratitude. Besides, the affective also played role. affect, sense attention participant received, feeling excitement, pleasure, pride. Negative affect feelings sadness because past relationships disappointment.
